fear conquered? check.

yep. i rode a bike. and yes, it is one of my GREATEST fears. warren held onto the handle bars AND seat to guide me along the bike trail on pch. melanie filmed and lisa rode along side me with encouraging words. and a random boy on a skate board followed me for a while rooting me on. people stared. then warren let go and watched me like a proud father (thats weird to say) as i biked all by myself!! my eyes swelled a little. and my neck/shoulders were sore the next day from riding so tense. but....i am now into it. and want to buy a beach cruiser of my own!!

and it was INCREDIBLE. got the filet. and the creme brulee. but i was MOST happy with sharing my time there w/ my bff - wardav. cheesy i know, but its true. life is good. :-)

thanks for the AMAZING time!! and thanks to donna for letting us stay with her! her apt is sooo cute. i am a little jealous that she is there now - why didnt we live there at the same time??!! there is still nyc in my blood. think i will go back again this fall...

bearded bf.

this is what warren looked like when he came home from indiana. yes - kind of like a bum. he did not shave the entire 5 weeks he was gone (and the 3 weeks prior). he was so proud of his multi-colored beard, i dealt with it for a day. although i was a slightly terrified when i first saw him at the airport. i was shocked when he told me a woman started a conversation with him on the plane! i would have been frightened of him, or thought he was just going to ask me for money. he shaved the next day :-)

and i will reunite with this gem. 5 weeks went by pretty fast. and with minimal "girl freak-outs." sooooo excited to see my boo.
