what decorating style are you?

French Eclectic

phantom.

i was trying to post this with my v-day post, but my internet has been RETARDED. so...here it is now!! warren and i went with john and shelly to see phantom of the opera at the pantages in LA. yes, double date with the parents a day before v-day. and LOVED it. and we may or may not have been sitting directly in front and behind eachother during the first act (yes, warren and i) but we snagged a couple seats in the same row for the second act. what? it was a last minute plan with the parentals, so beggars couldnt be choosers. anyway - thanks parents!!

happy belated v-day.

our v-day was fabulous!!! warren did a FANTASTIC job. i loved every second of it. he surprised me in the morning with this beautiful marble red rose and then we enjoyed an amazing dinner at this cute little italian place at crystal cove in newport coast. it was....incredible. then we spent the remainder of the evening at yes....stake conference. no better way than to strengthen our already amazing bond then with the spirit :-) then maybe we came home to watch a cheesy love story, "somewhere in time." and let me tell you - do NOT waste your time. it was soooo bizarre. time travel? i mean honestly. but i do love jane seymor (aka: dr. quin, medicine woman) and maybe i think christopher reeve is cute (bc he kinda resembles zac efron), but it was just odd. happy belated v-day everyone. hope you had a good one.....bc i definitely lucked out this year.

before i tell you WHERE i got this dress, just decide on if you like it or not. STOP READING UNTIL YOU HAVE DECIDED. i resurrected this old dance costume to wear out last night. just pinned up the back to make a little tail feather train. it was a smash hit! thought about NOT giving away my secret, but this one was too good! do you like?? or do you hate?? and yes - i am ridiculous. thanks for reading.

happy bday to my bff hailey ann ward wilde!! i decided to post these pics of when i visited her and brandon in hawaii to remember how freaking awesome it was! i am sooo happy to have them so close to me now in cali. i hope you have the BEST day ever hails!! ily.

antique

sarah - you will love this. i am having this NEW found obsession with antiques - chandeliers in particular. i was obsessing over finding a chandelier lamp (like ones i saw at a boutique on balboa island last week). i almost even bought one off the boutique owner bc i was loving these amazing chandelier lamps (which i classify as victorian, whimsical or fansical...and warren calls them gothic). anyway - she was seriously about to rip me off, and then admitted to finding these gems at tj max home goods!! so i went. and fell in l.o.v.e. This store is amazing. i want to decorate my WHOLE house in it. i ended up buying a darling victorian style bed side lamp and a beautiful crystal circle hanging chandelier. and i LOVE them. had to rearrange my room to make them look appropriate. warren is still convinced that i am in some "gothic" phase, but is still supportive. he even (get ready for the blog brag) planned a cute date for us this past weekend around my new found antique chandelier obsession! he took me to downtown orange (antique capital of the u.s. of a) and saw all the cool shops and antiques - it was AMAZING!! and there were PLENTY of chandeliers to see. sarah - you would be obsessed. hands down obsessed. you've gotta come - you would die. anyway....LOVE my new objects of light. and really liking warren for his observant, thoughtful and sweet date. the end.
