roomie reunion 2009

once a year, the old roomies from byu-i get together. there were 7 of us who rotated in and out of nauvoo 208 in rexburg and have stayed good friends over the years. this year, our reunion took place in hb!! yahoo!! i love all these girls so much and each of them have affected my life greatly. thanks for coming, ladies!!! i miss you already!! please enjoy some pics below:

things are not as they seem...

so....maybe i bought some bootie enhancing panties. and they came this morning!! and i am wearing them RIGHT now. they totally look real (ok - so maybe it doesnt FEEL that real). so now all of you will be wondering when you see me if i am gellin (as always) AND foamin.

and it would be pretty hilarious if someone walked into our house while we are attempting to pop 'n lock. jk. but we do love the choreagraphy. i took a ballet class earlier this week at jimmy defore in costa mesa. kicked my butt. all the girls taking class are auditioning for companies right now - and AMAZING. needless to say it has been a tad bit difficult walking the past couple days, especially stairs. so out of shape. i miss dance, but coming back and sucking so bad....is it really worth it? maybe i should just stick with browsing random dance videos on youtube and the occasional attempt to learn a dance from the video. maybe you guys will get lucky and lisa and i will post us doing the dance once we have learned it. but dont hold your breath.

went to the newport temple last night to do baptisms - and LOVED it. it was such a cool experience being there with good friends from our ward. really did feel like a family. i am so grateful for the church and my knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. i dont know where i would be in my life without it. i cant wait to go back to the temple next week with my old roomies!!

Girls NIght!

we had a girls party 80s dancing night!! yes. i am wearing a tutu. there is a small bar/club down in laguna beach called ocean's that has 80s dancing every tuesday night. we are NO strangers to oceans, but this is the largest group of ALL girls we have had come at once. love the girls down here in hb. probably the nicest group of girls in a ward i have ever had. and they all love to DANCE - which i love, of course. girls rule, boys drool!!!
