so, anyone who knows me, knows that i am pretty much obsessed with facebook. that might even be an understatement. i thought it was only fair to the site that has changed my relatively boring life into an ever exciting news and gossip filled adventure, to officially make a post. i think it is amazing that a social network could be so large and so socially accepted that you quite literally could bring it up in a dinner conversation and it is normal. or the fact that you havent seen someone in 3 years, but you know exactly what they are up to - so, when you run into them you dont even have to ask. you can simply comment on the pic you saw of them with thier family in maui over christmas and ask how it was...although you already know they unfortunately got a hand-mark burn from not rubbing in thier sun block thouroughly from viewing the rest of the album. what is starting to creep me out even more is that you can actually be "facebook friends" with someone before you actually meet them in person, so you already know about them. i mean...depending on one's privacy settings, it is a pretty uninhibited site - makes it great for stalking. what a dream. thank you facebook.Wednesday, February 6, 2008

ERIN!!! I can't believe you've had a blog all this time and I didn't know about it. I joined the blogging world a couple of weeks ago and have been getting everyone I know to join too. So I was sooo happy to find you. I heard you came by when you were in YL and I was so bummed I missed you. Next time. I'm way jealous that you get to live in CA. I'm freezing here!! Anyways, check out our blog. I was laughing about your latest entry bc it is pretty creepy to know what everyone's up to without ever talking to them. the first step is admitting that you are an addict so I will give you some credit for that... I think if I were single, i too would be an addict though, I just love how you can stalk people and know so much about someone before actually meeting them. But i guess I do that through blogs...but for the most part it reconnects ya with old college friends, which is always fun. Anyways, I am all about getting together sometime soon. What are your lifelong plans? You in Cali for a while or what? I think we should plan a girls trip to utah sometime when it is not so cold...or maybe those in utah should head out west to cali and we can all meet up there. Anyways, love your blog, love your post and just love YOU! You make me laugh and I love it.
