my fabulous friend hailey ann ward wilde turned 24 today! she is pretty much the hottest mom ever and i love her! thanks for being my friend, hails, and i cant wait to see you on thursday!!!!!!

yes, that is ivan from so you think you can dance season 2. love him. he was darling. i told him i voted for him every week (lie) and that i thought he was cute (truth) then pressed my body against his in a full-frontal contact hug. it was awesome.

here are the "teachers" as we reunited for the Nuvo convention this past weekend. for those of you who are not up on this dance stuff, my old competing group, Troupe Civic, went to LA this weekend to take master classes from professional dancers (including ivan and travis wall from so you think you can dance season 2), then compete with dances that were choreographed by the everyone in this pic above (excluding me and tori). they did awesome - and i felt like a proud mama! no - sarah, i did not take class, but i had a real good time with my new friends travis and ivan. i heart dance and spider pants.

i am obsessed with my niece. and so is tori. seriously though. how freakin cute is she? and soon she will be a BIG sister! congrats you guys!

oh...and a happy new year!

girls trip to san diego was real niccccceeeee this year! we dance partied of course. why is that wherever we go we TRY to attract the most attention? i mean....the platform on the second floor overlooking the crowd seemed like an obvious dance spot. i dont know why others didnt find it first. and dancing out of the sunroof with the music bumping in the parking lot after party was a given.

ok, so down to business...i am keeping things real simple this year with my resolutions:
1. gain weight.
2. be nicer ABOUT people.

how hard could it be? i will let you know in 2009.

sex and the old roommates....

me and miriam discovered this past weekend, that our old roomies of nauvoo 208 summer of 2003 could totally be close in personality to the characters of Sex and the City! you know...in case they need an understudy while filming the movie...

Carrie (SJP) - Maeve. she is ALWAYS thinking about something in depth. writing it down, discussing and analyzing and we feel as though she blogs as SJP would. she always has great outfits and LOVES fashion. maeve is also finally ending up with "big"...aka Chris b.

Charlotte - Miriam. the total optimist. charlotte is always the hopeless romantic, knowing that her knight in shining armor will rescue her. i could also see her riding in a convertible with the top down while wearing a scarf on her head with big sunglasses (one of mir's dreams in the future).

Miranda - Hails. she doesnt put up with the bull. she says it how it is and has a realistic view on life. she also has a baby :) she can argue her point to no end and she is ALWAYS right.

Samantha - Erin. does this one really need an explanation? look at samantha checking the guy out in the pic. also, maybe samantha tends to cross the line at times with her comments. not that i do that or anything....

dont worry...

i got exactly what i wanted for christmas this year (with the exception of the puppy). just thought i would make it official and proclaim to the blogging world that this is my ALL time favorite movie. nothing beats it. nothing. oh, and i decided that the best job in the world is to be disney pop star. i mean....their career always blossoms (love you brit).

Little Cynda was sealed to Ben Johnson on December 29, 2007 for time and ALL eternity! whooo hooo! the wedding was beautiful and she was gorgeous. it couldnt have been a more perfect day and i couldnt imagine two people more perfect for each other!! CONGRATS MR. and MRS. BEN JOHNSON!!!!!
